The Dynamical Analysis of a Delayed Prey-Predator Model with a Refuge-Stage Structure Prey Population
A mathematical model describing the dynamics of a delayed stage structure prey - predator system with prey refuge is considered. The existence, uniqueness and bounded- ness of the solution are discussed. All the feasibl e equilibrium points are determined. The stability analysis of them are investigated. By employ ing the time delay as the bifurcation parame...
متن کاملConvergence of an Age-Physiology Dependent Population Model
We propose a method for partially discretizing a model of an agedependent population dynamics with an additional structure whose growth rate is age-dependent. We give theoretical conditions under which a second order accuracy arises. A priori estimates are obtained. The main result indicates that the sum of these errors converges and is of second order accuracy.
متن کاملA Partially Discretized Age-dependent Population Model with an Additional Structure
A semi-discretization method for solving an age-dependent population dynamics model with an additional structure is proposed. This method, unlike previous ones, considers the partial discretization which reduces the model equation into a first order ordinary differential equation. The latter is then solved explicitly and conditions under which second order accuracy arises are given. While the a...
متن کاملA Variable Time Step Method for an Age-Dependent Population Model with Nonlinear Diffusion
We propose a method for solving a model of age-dependent population diffusion with random dispersal. This method, unlike previous methods, allows for variable time steps and independent age and time discretizations. We use a moving age discretization that transforms the problem to a coupled system of parabolic equations. The system is then solved by backward differences in time and a Galerkin a...
